Kuala Lumpur, 30 June 2014: No introduction is needed for Malaysia’s beloved funny man, Harith Iskander, who has conquered the comedy scene in Malaysia for the past 23 years (and that’s a long time) with his unique rib-tickling and belly-laughing stage humour centering on our local landscape. The tour first saw Harith’s stand-up comedy in Singapore on June 18thcausing infectious laughter and hysterics which will soon spread to Jakarta (3rd & 4th July), New Delhi (July 26th & 27th), Perth (14thAugust), Hong Kong (22th & 23rd August) and finally hit Seoul (27th September). Malaysian stand-up comedy fans who can’t get enough of Harith’s humour and planning a holiday can now catch him in his latest acts of hilarity at these exciting cities…but be warned! His contagious comedy can leave you in stiches for some time.
In the early years, through his innate talent of producing and performing humour based on everyday Malaysian way of life, Harith was the first to successfully pioneer and introduce local style stand-up comedy that Malaysians from all walks of life have become fond of. Today, acknowledged as Malaysia’s premier stand-up comedian and the nation’s darling of comedy scene, Harith has performed ‘live’ at countless events and entertained thousands of Malaysians and foreigners with his unique and original comedy productions.
